"Three Cups of Tea" is a real story of an American climber who promises the people of a village in Pakistan during an attempt to climb K2, the world’s second highest mountain, to build them a school. Mortenson failed to climb K2 but successfully built not just one but fifty five schools - especially for girls - in some of the most remote areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
