Growing My Own Avocado Tree
I just started to grow my own avocado tree. This may take a couple of weeks to sprout and form some roots and it may take months to grow leaves. Let's wait and see how it grows.
It's a beautiful picture that brings back memories from when my kids were kids. Even now, I have a collection of avocado seeds just waiting for toothpicks. Your post is inspiring me to get to that project without further delay. Good luck with your tree and your growth, Meead.
I have a little avocado tree, sprouted from a seed like this. It can work, though you must not be in a hurry. My tree is about 14 inches tall, and is perhaps four or five years old.
